Everyone loves music. This is what we are currently listening to :

AMY

Bryan Adams – Anthology (2005) – Summer of ’69 you just cant beat it. Roll on the 21st July when we see him at Murrayfield (although Stu wanted me to make it clear that he wasn’t coming !!)
The Byrds – Very Best Of The Byrds (1997) – Great classic tunes on there. It’s amazing how many of them have been used in the movies, especially Easy Rider.
Radiohead – The Bends (1995)
Johnny Cash – The Legendary (2005)
Oasis – (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? (1995)

STU

Powderfinger – Vulture Street (2003)
Kasabian – Kasabian (2004) – Just edges out Arctic Monkey’s debut as being my favourite album of recent years. A superb melting pot of Happy Mondays, The Stone Roses and Oasis. Indie anthem after Indie anthem on this album.
Jet – Shine On (2006) – No second album syndrome here. Stands up alongside Get Born as being a good, solid rock album.
The Fray – How To Save A Life (2007) - Hmmm – not convinced by this one. Bit too wishy-washy for my liking. Sounds too much like some of the weaker Snow Patrol / Embrace album tracks.
Bob Dylan – Highway 61 Revisited (1965) – Has Bob Dylan ever released a bad album ? If so I’ve yet to hear it.
Manic Street Preachers – Everything Must Go (1996) – Although not as ground-breaking as “The Holy Bible” (that’s the album, not the best-selling book) this is my favourite Manic’s album. Having read a few reviews it sounds as though their new album, “Send Away The Tigers”, is the Manic’s back to their mid Nineties best. Certainly one I’ll be getting soon.
Suede – Coming Up (1996)
U2 – Achtung Baby (1991) – It’s hard to believe that this album is 16 years old. Still sounds as fresh as the first time I listened to it as a teenager all those years ago ! I have liked pretty much everything U2 have done. Alright, some of their expermental albums were a bit off the wall but when you’ve put in as many years as U2 have why not mix things up a bit. Their last 2 albums have proven that they’ve still got enough in them (even with Bono’s large ego) to produce good, if not exactly original, rock albums.More please !
John Lennon – Legend (1997)
Kings Of Leon -Youth And Young Manhood (2003)
